Reverend Sandra Farrington was ordained and inducted as minister of Banton and Twechar Parish Churches on 30th Jan 2003. Before entering the ministry and raising her son, Sandra worked as a ward sister at Gartnavel General Hospital. The year prior to coming here she was a part-time hospital at Bonnybridge & Larbert Hospitals..

In her home church, St Andrews Bo'ness, she was an elder and set up a pastoral care group in her congregation, as well as setting up a day care unit in the church for all in the town suffering from dementia.

Originally from Garrowhill, Glasgow, Sandra is married to Robin who has family links with Kilsyth and is an avid supporter of Kilsyth Rangers F.C. They have a son, Iain, who is a primary teacher.

Moss, a collie-alsation cross completes the manse family. He is the Sunday School mascot and has his own column in the quarterly church magazine.
